Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Talia, a wonderful yoga teacher based at Cucumber Fields, Essendon.
Talia found me through the studio and on social media while planning her summer schedule of workshops and events. She knew she wanted fresh, professional photos to elevate her social media and marketing as she steps into this exciting new season of her business.
She chose my summer offer June Micro Shoots – a smaller, more accessible version of my full brand shoot – and we went for it.
We chose a beautiful local park in Potters Bar, one of my favourite spots not just for photography but also for walks when I need to clear my own mind. There’s a corner of the park that feels made for yoga – super lush, zen, almost like a hidden Bali.
From the moment we started, we connected so easily. It was such a joy to watch Talia relax and really open up in front of the camera. Her calm presence and radiant energy made the shoot feel effortless.
She said it better than I ever could:
“Kris is such an incredible photographer! Great organisation before the shoot - she really wanted to get to know who I was as a person and what images I wanted to portray and capture. Kris took extra time in looking at my vision boards and style prior to the shoot. On the day of the shoot I have never felt more comfortable and felt like I’d known her for years. She immediately provided reassurance and was such an incredible guide throughout. I was able to flow seamlessly and as a result my energy was beautifully captured. Definitely will be getting more pictures in the future, for sure!”
Here are a few highlights from the day – I hope you feel the calm and beauty we created together.
