This is one of the first things I want to understand before I photograph you.
Because people don’t only want to know what you do. They want to feel something. They want to understand who you are, what matters to you and whether you might be the right person to help them.
But when you run your own business, knowing how to communicate all of that isn’t always easy.
You’re told to post more, make videos, show your face and share your story. Sometimes you try to do everything, but the real message gets lost. Other times, you overthink it so much that you share nothing at all.
There is a space between sharing everything and sharing nothing.
That is where intention makes a difference.

We begin with your story
Before I pick up my camera, I want to understand your work, your ideas and the people you want to reach.
What are you building? What matters to you? And what would you like people to feel when they discover your business?
Together, we turn those thoughts into photographs.
Not random pretty pictures or poses that could belong to anyone. Photographs that feel connected to you and help you communicate what you do with more clarity.
What changes after the session?
You leave with more than a fresh collection of images.
You have photographs that can introduce you, show how you work and help the right people understand the person behind your business.
Updating your website becomes easier. Creating content feels more purposeful. And showing your face starts to feel less like performing and more like sharing work you genuinely believe in.
The experience itself can change something too.
From planning to feeling completely at ease
The preparation is an important part of every session. I want to understand who you are, what you want your photographs to communicate and any ideas or visual references you already have.
Talia shared this after her shoot:
“Kris really wanted to get to know who I was as a person and what images I wanted to portray and capture. She took extra time looking at my vision boards and style before the shoot.”
And when the day arrived:
“I have never felt more comfortable. Kris immediately provided reassurance and was such an incredible guide throughout. I was able to flow seamlessly and, as a result, my energy was beautifully captured.”
That is exactly what I want these sessions to feel like.
The planning gives us direction, but the space we create together allows you to relax, express yourself and let your personality come through naturally.
That, for me, is the difference.

Summer Storytelling Sessions are back
These sessions are for yoga teachers, wellness professionals, coaches, therapists, creatives, founders and small business owners who have something valuable to offer and need photographs that help them communicate it.
Perhaps your business has changed and your current images no longer represent you. Perhaps you are preparing to launch a website, service or workshop. Or perhaps you are ready to take your work more seriously and let the right people see it.
You tell me your story. I capture it, so you can share it with the people who may genuinely need what you offer.

The session includes:
- A 45-minute outdoor photoshoot
- A North London location

I’m happy to travel further afield, with an additional travel cost depending on the location.
