I met Maud back in January at a networking event in York, and from the first conversation, something clicked. She’s a life coach with a warm, grounded presence and a clear sense of purpose – and as she told me about her work, her story, and her vision, I knew we’d create something special together.
Maud wanted a fresh set of images to carry her into spring and summer. Her last shoot was 18 months ago, and she’s grown and shifted so much since then – personally and professionally. She wanted her new photos to reflect who she is now – not just polished portraits, but images that feel honest, inspiring, and true to her journey.
She uses social media actively to connect with her audience, often sharing heartfelt reflections and insights in her stories. This time, she wanted visuals that could match her words – uplifting, real, and rooted in the places that make her feel most like herself.
We chose a location that Maud knows well – a trail she walks daily near Hammersmith Bridge in London, along the River Thames. It’s where she feels whole, connected, and inspired. No studio setup, no artificial poses – just natural light, movement and the quiet beauty of a familiar path. The shoot was full of ease and laughter, and Maud’s presence made it a joy to capture.
She decided to take an inspirational route with this shoot – using the photos to show her presence, her clarity and her message. And truly, the result is more than branding. It’s a visual story about a woman who knows who she is and what she’s here to offer.
Here’s what Maud shared about the experience:
I booked this shoot with Kris without knowing her that well but having seen her work through friend she worked with. Both yoga teachers, I also felt she would get it. Ahead of the shoot she asked me a few questions as to what was my vision, what I wanted to share, my messaging, my why etc…
It forces me to really dive deep into how I was envisioning the shoot which I never dis before. I would think of outfit, show up and expect the photographer to do the rest.
Then on the day there was no rush, we started with a chat that made us connected instantly and through the shoot Kris always offered options but was assertive in a caring way too which made me feel held and supported.
We also had fun and it was really a 2 hours walk with a friend chatting all things business, and I loved every minute even before receiving the pictures!
Then came the portfolio which was full of beautiful pictures, and I loved the mix of pictures of me but also beautiful shoots of me on nature, it really captured my authenticity and I will be forever grateful for this moment and having the pictures as a memory for ever.
I know my soul clients will see the true me in them which I why I wanted to have this new shoot as the last one was 18 months old.

It’s always a privilege to hold space for someone’s transformation and reflect it back through imagery. If you’re feeling like your current photos no longer represent who you are or where you’re headed – maybe it’s time for a refresh.
