From “I think I need a shoot” to images you’re proud to use everywhere
My photography process, step by step
If you are looking for a brand photographer in London and wondering what to expect from a brand photoshoot, this guide explains my photography process step by step. Based in London, I work with personal brands, yoga teachers and creative business owners who want images that feel natural, confident, and aligned with their work. From the initial discovery call to planning, shoot day, and final gallery delivery, my brand photography process is designed to support you fully and help you use your images with clarity and confidence.

Step 1. The decision
You don’t need a perfect brief.
You might already know what you want.
Or you might only have a loose idea, a mood, or a direction you’d love to move towards.
Both are valid.
My role is not just to take photos, but to help you translate what’s in your head (or heart) into visuals that actually support your business.
Step 2. A 15-minute discovery call
Clarity before commitment.
Before anything is booked, we have a short discovery call.
This is where:
• You tell me about you, your work, and where you’re at
• I listen for what you say and what sits underneath it
• I explain how I work and which package would genuinely support you
• We talk ideas, locations, styling direction, and budget openly
No pressure. No sales script. Just a grounded conversation to see if we’re the right fit.
Step 3. Custom quote and booking
Everything clear, nothing rushed.
After our call, you’ll receive:
• A personalised quote
• Payment options if needed
• Clear next steps
• A deposit invoice to secure your shoot
Once your deposit is received, your date is officially booked and we move into planning mode.
Step 4. Planning and strategy
This is where the magic really happens.
You’ll receive:
• A brand questionnaire to help me understand your business, audience, and goals
• A 30-minute strategy call where we shape the shoot together
• Support with studio or location booking
• Outfit guidance, mood direction, and visual flow
• A preparation checklist so you feel ready, not overwhelmed
From this point until shoot day, we’re usually in touch via WhatsApp.
Sharing ideas. Refining details. Making sure everything feels aligned.
You’re not doing this alone.
Step 5. Final check-in
48 hours before the shoot.
Two days before your shoot:
• The remaining balance is due
• We do a final check that everything is in place
• Any last questions are answered
By this point, most clients tell me they feel excited rather than nervous. That’s always the goal.
Step 6. Shoot day
Guided, relaxed, and human.
This is not about “knowing how to pose”.
On the day, I guide you gently through:
• Movement
• Breath
• Small adjustments that make a big difference
• Moments of pause when needed
Whether it’s a one-hour shoot or a full day, the experience is designed to feel supportive, calm, and confidence-building.
Most people leave saying:
“That felt easier than I expected.”
Step 7. Editing and delivery
Your images, ready to use.
Within 7–10 days, you’ll receive:
• A personalised online gallery
• High-resolution images for print
• Web-sized images optimised for your website and social media
Everything is organised, clean, and easy to use.
Bonus. A post-shoot mentoring call
Because images are only powerful when you use them.
After your gallery is delivered, you also receive a complimentary 30-minute call.
We can cover:
• How to use your images across your website and socials
• Which photos work best for visibility and connection
• How to build confidence showing up consistently
• Any questions around personal branding and content
This is where photography meets clarity.
In short
This isn’t just a shoot.
It’s a supported process from idea to execution.
If you’re feeling that nudge that it’s time to be seen properly, that’s usually the right moment to start the conversation.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to take the first step.
